Grace United Methodist Church is a caring community dedicated to being a place of hope and healing. We are committed to deepening our relationship with God, Christ and the Holy Spirit through Biblical study and hands on ministry. Every person who comes through our doors is welcomed into an environment where we care for each other, reach out to assist others in need and give a hand up, not just a hand out. You are invited to come and find a home at Grace.

We are a church with open minds, open doors and open hearts - welcoming all to be a part of this family of disciples.

Often we need to heal hurts of the past by knowing that we are truly accepted, just as we are. You will find Grace United Methodist Church to be that place of healing. We offer Connectional Care Circles, as a way to be in a small caring group plus programs such as AA and other support groups.

Our Christian education program is led by dynamic and dedicated individuals who know the importance of developing a strong relationship with God and Christ, at an early age. Our children and youth both learn the stories in the Bible and experience the power of prayer in their own lives. On Sunday mornings, the classrooms are filled with children and youth who are eager and excited to learn more about our awesome God and God’s son Jesus, along with beginning to encounter the power of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer is the foundation upon which this community stands. We believe that where two or more are gathered praying, Christ is present, empowering us and working through us to heal individuals and to keep this community faithful to living out the word of God.

Throughout the year there are many activities - Dinners that produce times of great fellowship and good food. Children’s Sundays, where our youth and children present an original play under the direction of our Minister of Music, Elissa Zahn. Also for children we have an Advent Workshop where all ages gather to make presents, an Easter Egg Hunt, and other times of simply getting together for fun.

Our Confirmation class is for junior high and older youth who gather together on Sunday evenings to explore what it means to claim the name Christian and United Methodist. Through an interactive program they learn more about the history of the Bible and or Christian faith, how to be a Christian in today’s society, what it means to live with God at the center of your life.

Adult education occurs on Monday and Tuesday nights with many opportunites, through a variety of methods, to learn about the teachings in the Old and New Testaments, our individual faith journeys and to discover more ways to put our faith into action.
